Heather Duhon Moore

ATTORNEY

​Heather was born and raised in Iberia Parish, Louisiana. After completing a degree in psychology with a minor in criminal justice at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, she pursued her legal education at Southern University Law Center.

 

During law school, Heather gained hands-on experience as a legal intern at the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office and several personal injury law firms.

​

After graduation, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Judge Paul J. de Mahy of the 16th Judicial District Court.

 

Heather is licensed to practice law in Louisiana courts as well as in the Chitimacha tribal courts. Her practice primarily focuses on family law, criminal law and personal injury.

​

Heather is an active member of the Louisiana Bar Association, Teche Bar Association and Associated Real Estate Professionals of Iberia Parish. She is also actively involved in her local community as a member of various social organizations which raise funds for community projects.
